ICTC Launches Quality Control and Food Safety Training under the Benaa 3 Project
The Quality Control and Food Safety training program is designed to prepare young people for careers in the food industry by equipping them with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to implement quality control and food safety standards within food production facilities. The program provides hands-on training in inspection and quality assurance techniques, food processing operations, Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and food safety management systems to ensure the production of safe, high-quality food products in accordance with recognized standards. The program adopts a practical, competency-based approach through training in the laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture, enabling participants to gain real-world experience while developing the technical, professional, and employability skills demanded by the labor market. The program is implemented under the Benaa 3 Project by ICTC Training and Consultancy in partnership with the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development (SFSD) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It aims to prepare qualified professionals who meet labor market needs, enhance youth employability, and contribute to sustainable economic development in Upper Egypt.
