Build 3 trainees were transported by bus to Hurghada for interviews and on-the-job training in Tourism & Hospitality to boost their employability.

The practical phase of the Build 3 Project, implemented by ICTC for Training and Consulting in partnership with the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and Ataa Without Borders Association, included a series of interviews and on-the-job training sessions for trainees in the Tourism and Hospitality sector. Trainees were transported by bus to Hurghada to participate in interviews and practical training at several partner hotels, aiming to enhance their employability and provide real job opportunities. The practical training covered key hotel departments such as Housekeeping, Restaurants, Kitchens, and Front Office operations, enabling trainees to gain hands-on experience and familiarize themselves with the real workplace environment. This initiative aligns with the project’s objectives to bridge training with labor market needs, equip youth with essential practical and soft skills, and increase their chances of securing sustainable employment in the Tourism and Hospitality sector, one of Egypt’s growing industries. The Build 3 Project continues to support youth and prepare them for the workforce through effective partnerships with the private sector, contributing to economic and social development and raising employment rates in the targeted communities.
