“Read” Project – Enhancing Arabic Language Skills for Children in Community Schools

The "Read" project is a qualitative educational initiative in partnership with the American University in Cairo and the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research. It aims to:
Develop Arabic grammar skills among children in community schools.
Build the capacity of teachers in these schools through specialized training.
Measure educational impact through systematic evaluations.
Target group:
Children in community schools (primary education stage).
Arabic language teachers in Assiut and Minya governorates.
Main activities:
Design interactive curricula that focus on simplifying grammar rules.
Train teachers on innovative teaching strategies.
Monitor children's progress through periodic evaluations.
Outcomes:
A noticeable improvement in children's reading and writing skills.
Empowering teachers with effective teaching tools.
Publishing an evaluation report that highlights the project's impact on the local community.
